We strive to offer a 'by return' despatch service on our products. Most, if not all, of our transfer products are available ex-stock and are despatched within 24-48 hours (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) of receiving orders. If your order includes Etched Products some delays may be encountered whilst the items are hand painted and finished. We therefore request that you allow 28 days for delivery.
We stock large quantities of RailMatch and Phoenix Precision Paints, many of which can be supplied ex-stock. We are unable to give specific delivery times on items 'out of stock' as we have to wait for new supplies to arrive from the manufacturers. Notice will be given if delays in despatch are likely to be longer than 28 days.
As of 1 July 2021, customers in the EU will be responsible for any import VAT, taxes or fees. VAT will NOT be charged when order is placed - the current rate will normally be collected by the relevant courier or postal operator in the relative country where goods are delivered.
Customers in non EU countries may also be liable for import taxes if applicable.
Privacy & Security
Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed on-line. We do not disclose telephone numbers to any third parties. Neither do we disclose address details to any third parties.

Returns & Replacements
If you have ordered an item incorrectly, we are happy to exchange it for you (providing it is received by us in a resaleable condition and within 30 days of purchase). When returning goods to be exchanged, please also include the appropriate packing and postal amounts applicable for the return of exchanged goods. Please also ensure that you stamp the returned package with the correct amount - any shortfall will mean that we are charged a fee by Royal Mail, and this will be re-charged to you, together with any shortfall in postage. We will debit any additional postal charges to your credit/debit card (if your order was paid by this method) if no return postal payments are enclosed with the returned goods.
Should you require a refund on any ordered goods we will oblige (providing they are returned to us in a resaleable condition and within 30 days of purchase). You will be responsible for covering the correct return postal charges and we will not be held responsible for any return item that goes missing if the item is not insured. We do not always accept mail which does not bear the correct postage and which has been surcharged by Royal Mail. Please consult your local Post Office if you are uncertain how much postage to affix. We cannot be held responsible for items returned and not received (either for being lost or for incorrect postage).
Occasionally, mistakes are made and items are despatched in error. In this instance we will cover return postage costs.
Faulty goods : Faulty goods need to be reported within 30 days of purchase. We cannot replace goods which have not been reported within this time period as we are unable to know if items have been stored correctly. Faulty items will be replaced or refunded on evidence of goods not being fit for purpose.
Non delivery of goods : Royal Mail will not consider an item as lost until after 14 working days (to UK addresses) even using First Class Mail. Please allow time (after shipment notification) before contacting us regarding non delivery. Overseas customers could have to wait 4-6 weeks owing to customs. PLEASE NOTIFY US OF NON DELIVERY WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE IF YOU LIVE IN UK (OR 45 DAYS IF OVERSEAS) - we will then advise replacement shipping. You will not be eligible for replacements of goods if we are not notified within the stated period of time.
Bespoke Orders : Bespoke transfers and etched plates are not stock items - they are produced to specific requirements. Once artwork is generated any down payment (normally 50% with placement order) is non refundable. Approval of artwork will always be obtained prior to printing or etching. Balance payment is due on completion of works and prior to despatch. This too is non refundable once printing is completed and goods despatched.
Gift Vouchers
Our Gift Vouchers can be exchanged for goods to the face value of the Voucher, they cannot be exchanged for cash. If you return any goods (purchased with a Gift Voucher) for a refund, you will receive a credit note to the value of goods returned - providing they are returned in saleable condition within 30 days of the order date.
At the moment, gift vouchers cannot be redeemed online. You can, however, send in a mail order (enclosing your voucher) or make a telephone order (quoting the voucher number). Vouchers can be redeemed once - after they have been used to purchase goods, the credit will be removed from our system.

Payment to be made with order. We can accept payment by Credit/Debit Card, by Cheque (Drawn on a UK bank account), Postal Order or International Money Order - made payable to Fox Transfers Ltd.
Sizing/Dimensions
Many items on our website include dimensions of transfers printed or prototypical sizing of actual images. Please note the size of printed transfers supplied can vary slightly from dimensions stated.
There are many stages to the printing process and each process has its own tolerance. From outputting film, creating stencils and printing, to variations in ink thickness - each process can make a difference. Even weather, (humidity, heat or cold) can make the paper expand or contract - another variation in the process. All Waterslide Transfers are printed by a semi-automatic printing machine and each sheet of paper is hand-fed. So, whilst we aim to be as accurate as possible in our research and printing, we do have to make clear that tolerances must be considered and allowed for.
Images
Many of the products listed on our website have images to show sheet/plate content. These images are not photographs of the actual products but are illustrations (or artwork representations) of full size imagery. Owing to the screen printing process and the fact we are sometime trying to scale items from 'full size' to 'very small', the printed transfers you receive may vary from the images shown on our website. Many of the smaller items can only be 'the best facimile' we can produce given the scaling and printing perameters.
Please note, the colours of the website images may vary from the actual printed colours - viewing colours on a computer/mobile screen may not give an accurate representation of the screen printing inks used. Images for nameplates show artwork representations and detailing may vary if ordering smaller scales (especially 2mm/N gauge).
Transfer sheets may be sold as a two sheet pack and are marked x2 indicating that you get 2 identical sheets of the image shown.
Packaging
All orders are (because of their very nature) hand picked and packed. Sheets of transfers are not individually packaged - all sheets of transfers on a order will be packed in one bag with a printed instructions folder. Please open the packet to check its contents when your order arrives. Any errors or ommissions should be reported within 30 days of delivery - we cannot rectify any issues after this time. An appropriate descriptive price list will accompany any order as this gives extra protection during transit as well as giving range information.
Storage
Our stock is kept in a temperate climate. If stored correctly. transfer sheets will have an exceptionally long shelf life, Do not store in a room where the temperature is unstable (with large variations) or is exceeedingly hot or cold. Transfers will deteriorate if kept in direct sunlight or near a heat source for large periods of time - nor should they be stored in damp/moist conditions.
