LMS London Midland & Scottish Coronation Scot Streamlined Crimson Locomotive and Tender Livery Lining & Numbering, in metallic gold with integral black outlining. We have to some extent produced these lining sets (FRH7221 and FRH7220) in conjuction with DJH in Consett to outfit their excellent models. It has to be said that this is probably one of the most difficult lining operations to accomplish - blame Sir William Stanier, not Fox! The gold transfers for the Crimson liveried locos (6225 onwards) includes the black outlining sheets for this format. This set provides all required transfers for this livery including the 7P cab markings and enough alternative numbers to create whichever numberset you wish. The original (1937) version of the LMS - Streamlined 'Pacific' loco livery (6220-6224) was blue (see reference FRH7220), and this set provides similar elements relevant to this livery. Prospective modellers are recommended to read the considerable amount of published material on these locomotives before attempting the final livery work. In particular Modellers 'BackTrack' Vol 3 No 4 October/November 1993 will be found invaluable.
