Locomotive Crest, current to 1922. Size is 474mm (18.66 inches) high by 392mm (15.43 inches) wide. This was our first-ever full-size crest, commissioned by the Stephenson Locomotive Society. Its original was the final design to be employed by the NER, and was printed in reproduction form in fourteen colours plus clear varnish. When in use, it was normally positioned on tank-and tender-sides between the words
