BR Green Diesel Loco Running Numbering Dense White - Number 2. These transfers replicate the running numbering applied to both single green and two-tone green diesel locomotives from the mid 1950s until their eclipse by the corporate blue livery in the mid 1960s. Our transfers were originally used for the refurbishment of D6700, the English Electric Type 3/Class 37 which appeared at the EWS/Toton Open Weekend in 1998. This engine also bore our large 'Ferret & Dartboard' motif (FFS1002/2). Please note that these transfers are double printed in white to ensure complete opacity when applied to BR Green bodysides. They are extremely durable, especially when over varnished with a clear enamel lacquer.
